Trendify
Project: Trendify App
Problem
Users felt overwhelmed by cluttered and impersonal fashion apps, making it difficult to discover emerging trends and curate a personal style. Existing platforms were often difficult to navigate, leading to user drop-off. The challenge was to design a streamlined, personalized experience that blended inspiration with a seamless shopping journey.
My Role
As the lead UI/UX Designer, I was responsible for the entire design process. This included:
User Research & Competitive Analysis
Creating User Personas & Journey Maps
Developing User Flows & Wireframes
Building High-Fidelity Prototypes & UI Design
The Process
We began with in-depth user interviews to pinpoint key frustrations with existing apps. The primary insight was that users wanted "inspiration, not just a catalog."
Based on this, I developed user personas and mapped out a simplified user flow that prioritized discovery. I sketched low-fidelity wireframes to establish the core app structure, focusing on an intuitive "Your Feed" home screen. After iterating on feedback, I built a high-fidelity, interactive prototype in Figma.
The Solution & Impact
The final solution is "Trendify," a clean, content-first fashion app with a highly personalized feed that learns from user behavior. By simplifying the discovery process and creating a one-click path from inspiration to checkout, we designed an intuitive and engaging platform.
